Brewfest Bugs and Griefers Delay Event

Posted by: WoWGrrl   in Adventures In Azeroth

WoWGrrl's own Warcraft Gold guide: Get Rich & Stay Rich right from level one!
Wealth on Warcraft

Well, the hotfix was applied and rolling restarts took place in the early hours of the morning, and … now there’s no Dark Iron Dwarves invading every hour, and to /wave at a Barker doesn’t get you a Complementary Brewfest Sampler anymore.

Apparently not only was the Pink Elekk quest I was fortunate enough to do twice yesterday was NOT meant to be a repeatable quest, it was also problematic in that level 70’s could not see the quest, but those under 70 could.

The ‘barking’ quests that have you ride the Racing Ram through Ogrimmar work only in you being able to practice and refine your route - when you run past the flags, the automatic bark-out doesn’t happen anymore like it was happening yesterday.

So, while we wait for another emergency hotfix that will correct some of these problems and re-introduce ways to get Brewfest Tickets in the game, I guess we…

*gasp*

… go back to doing whatever it was before Brewfest came out!

Just wanted to thank you much for posting this. Very informative, and timely…Very dissapointed about the griefers ruining all the fun, such a shame. Hope they fix everything else up quick. Thanks again!

It’s as if the whole thing was planned by murlocs or sumthin’. I’m able to get enough tickets each day so’s I’ll get a ram mount before it ends, but now that I got me freaky bunny thing and I zapped the pink elekks, there’s no reason to hang around and drink! No more free beer, no other way to get tickets, no dwarves, no nuthin’. Just a small number of die-hard jerks and a few curious latecomers. What a waste.
