WoWGrrl's own Warcraft Gold guide: Get Rich & Stay Rich right from level one!
Wealth on Warcraft

This entry is a bit late for anyone who wishes to get the Winter Veil Disguise Kit immediately - the festive season is overwith on World of Warcraft and therefore the quests required to be completed aren’t available anymore, and therefore neither are the rewards.

Ah well. There’s always next year, and for those of you who hadn’t seen the “snowman kit” because you’re new to the game, I guarantee you’ll see some snowmen hanging around the cities in July, just because they can.

What’s The Snowman Look Like?

Winter Veil Disguise Kit - AKA Snowman Kit

A standard snowman of Frosty the Snowman fare - sticks for arms, carrot for a nose, and big black Top Hat. He’s got a special /dance, but once you activate the kit (which requires a Snowball to activate) you cannot move around, as you as a snowman have no legs.

Where Do I Get My Winter Veil Disguise Kit / Snowman Kit?

During the Winter’s Veil festive time of year (around Christmas outside of Azeroth), there are a number of different quests that can be done by players of all levels. In order to get the kit, you need to take down The Abominable Greench in Alterac Mountains which is a quest in the chain that starts with Stolen Winter Veil Treats. Once you finish all three quests in the chain, you’ll find that for a number of days afterwards, you’ll receive gifts from Great-father Winter or from the Smokeywood Pastures vendors thanking you for recovering the goods.

One of those gift days you’ll receive a game mail just like the one I’ve pictured below, and it carries your Winter Veil Disguise Kit, ready to be used! Now you just have to make sure you have a good supply of Snowballs for your Snowmen in July!
