The Abominable Greench shows up in Alterac Mountains near the Growless Cave during the Winter Veil season (December 15 to just around January 1) and is part of a quest chain that starts in Orgrimmar and Ironforge and is done by both Alliance and Horde during the special holiday. On occasion while fighting the Greench, he’ll put a stun on you by turning you into a snowman for a few seconds. The state doesn’t last long, I was lucky to get a screenshot!
