Arcane Vortex in Netherstorm - recharges mana?

Add Comment |

Weird, this cloud thing was hanging around while I was farming for some Mote of Mana for tailoring needs, and it recharged my mana when I was close to it.

So, of course, I hung around it as much as I could. It stayed there, and didn’t disappear the entire time I was there. I haven’t seen anything like it again in Netherstorm!

In engineering you can make a Zapthrottle Mote Extractor that gets motes of Mana from the Arcane Vortex’s. You can get water, air, shadow, and mana depending on zone.

You’re right, crystallized things and motes and many other things you collect when you mine or herb are quite profitable, especially when you’re hitting the stuff in Northrend which is in high demand.

The question about how to price your Auctions is a very good one, but not an easy one to answer because there are a number of variables to change the buy-out rate from day to day. I’ll ponder on this a little more and write a more comprehensive guide, while still making sure it’s not the size and complexity of a Stephen King novel ;)
