January 2008 70 Mage Player Stats, Unbuffed

Add Comment |

Here’s where my 70 Mage was at in early January 2008, after running heroics for a couple of weeks and upgrading with one or two pieces of gear from the dungeon and another couple of pieces of gear from the Heroics badge turn ins.

I crafted a lot of my own gear before hitting heroics, becoming a Tailor at level 66 and powerlevelling it through to where I could make the Soulcloth Gloves and full Shadoweave 3-piece set.

I was able to craft an epic a week for this guy once I hit 70 without borrowing a bit of material or a single gold piece from another player, and while I’ve been in Karazhan 5 times or so, I was able to largely jump over the 10-man instance runs for gearing up purposes and was invited to head straight into the 25-man raids with a few different guilds on our server.

I’m consistently in the top 3 of top DPS in these 25-man raid runs, too, even though I’m a Frost Mage and Fire/Arcane is largely agreed-upon to be the superior spec for 25-man raiding.

Want to know how I was able to afford all the materials to gear up so quickly for Heroics - without farming things to sell in the Auction House for hours on end while my friends were playing together or dungeoning or raiding and having a great time?

Check out my eBook entitled Wealth on Warcraft - full of tips and tricks you can use RIGHT NOW, and including an extra bonus that gets updated monthly where I share what’s making me good cash and is easy to replicate.
