I did the Naxx Attunement way back in the day but only got one character ever attuned. It wasn’t really on my priority list back then sadly. But it was a pretty penny, about 150g which as we know back then was freaking amazing.

Good luck on the happy dance flute by the way :) Mine’s been rotting in the bank for too long.

Like many things, the attunement is not a big problem these days.
Pre BC, grinding AD rep took a lot of effort (as the rep awarded when you got to Revered was extremely limited), also Righteous Orbs used to be in high demand and cost a lot of money back then.

As for Naxxramas itself, don’t think you can just stroll in there and clean the place out with a bunch of Lv 70s - this isn’t Molten Core!

If you’re looking for a Naxx PUG on ZJ, Violent and Phantomgreen seem to run old-world raids. I did Naxx with them a couple weeks ago. Their loot rules are fair enough, though I suggest bringing a thick skin for fight explanations and the results of any wipes.

From what I could see, there’s no way to tell if someone is attuned except when they can’t get it.

It cost me about 200g on my realm - 5×10g for the Arcane Crystals, 2×20g for the Nexus Crystals and ~60g for the Righteous Orb, plus the 60g.

I think I saved some money by having a couple of Arcane Crystals around from a recent toon mining through the Thorium levels too.

I just hit 70 on my pally and want to get attuned for Naxx to run with some friends later this week. How much cash did you have to spend on the crystals and orbs?

Sadly there is no special title or item to show you were attuned. Maybe being attuned now will yield some special reward when Naxx gets moved to Northrend in WotLK?
