WoWGrrl's own Warcraft Gold guide: Get Rich & Stay Rich right from level one!

I strongly believe that right now is a great time in-game to max out your crafting professions on your various toons.
Everywhere I look, materials are over-abundant (at least on my realm) and because of the sheer amount of stuff floating around, the prices are more than reasonable when compared to the average costs of such materials.
We won’t go into the discussion of value for objects on the game - that’s a huge discussion in itself, and all I can say right now is “supply and demand, baby”.
Hunter Pushes Enchanting To 375
My Hunter was the first toon to 70, but is the worst geared of my 3 70s. Her job is to help friends with quests, or run a rare heroic, or - mainly - to enchant things for my other toons. I even split her off into her own WoW account quite a while ago just so I could do my own enchants and not have to turn to the Trade line for every single one.
A little while back, I was taking a look at this Hunter’s gear and enchants, and did a whole bunch of work on improving things. Part of that improvement included moving Enchanting from where it sat for months at 366, and pushing it up to 375 so I could use one of the enchants I purchased from the Lower City Quartermaster. So, she’s completely ready for the expansion to hit.
Priest Advances Fishing
Fishing isn’t a profession that benefits from the current in-game market situation, but considering Outland expected you to have 300 fishing to start to catch anything with any type of reliability, I’m expecting that Northrend will require 375, or even 375+100 bauble, like Nagrand does for reliable fishing.
So, when I put myself into LFG during a quiet day, hoping to get a specific instance done (ie: Heroic Arc took some wrangling, to get quests done for the Champion of the Naruu line and the Hand of A’dal one too), I would venture over to Terrokar and fly around, landing periodically to fish out the pools of Golden Darter in the river after I smited the Baskilisks(sp??) to death.
I’m up to nearly 350 fishing on this toon, with both my Hunter and Mage already long being locked at 375 after the efforts of gearing up my Mage back at the start of the year.
Next Up - Engineering and Blacksmithing!
My Rogue and my Warrior rarely get play time, but I might as well spend a few bucks to max out their professions as well, since they’re so close.
Rogue Engineer is at 373. Warrior Blacksmith is at 337.
All will be maxed out long before the expansion hits!
