Fast and Easy Steps To Creating A WoW Guild
Becoming A Guildmaster
In World of Warcraft, any player can quickly and easily become a Guildmaster of his or her own guild.
As a Guild creator, you get to choose the guild's name, and as its Guildmaster you have complete control of its Ranks, Membership and Guild Bank.
Guildmasters can use this guild to build their own team of players, deepening in-game friendships and providing an outlet for any leadership skills that are bursting out from inside.
There are no limits to the number of guilds that may exist on a server, and there are no restrictions (other than one at a time) to the number of guilds one player can start over their playing lifetime.
Why Become A Guildmaster?
Different players seek to become a Guildmaster for different reasons. Some examples include:
- To create/contain their own network of friends in-game
- To have input on who stays and who leaves
- To make it easier to find dungeon groups with familiar players
- To do it better than their last GM did!
- To fill a niche within the game (ie: all-Hunters or midnight raiding)
- To stop getting guild invites from complete strangers all day
- To have a unique guild name above their heads
- To make use of the Guild Bank to share with friends/alts without theivery
No matter your reason for wanting to create a guild, the most challenging step is to get signatures for your new guild charter.
Easy Guild-Creation Tips
Everyone's been in the city tending to their bank or working in the Auction House when they read about some player offering cash for guild signatures.
An hour later, they're still shouting, and have wasted an hour's worth of playing time, and probably spent more money than expected for the signatures he got.
