Note, I don't mind if DPS are young, but non-duplicated roles like tank and heals need to be on the ball and focused :)

@Battleshy Death Knight DPS who... can't... use... a shield? Musta been a Warrior DPS, I don't think DK's can even roll 'need' on shield blues, but yah, I hear ya :( Good thing tanks get in quick, but it's still a lot of hassel when someone is a turd!

@Battleshy - you bet, the #1 best way to deal with questionable loot issues is to be polite and ask about it. The only time I've seen anyone say anything other than "go for it" has been when the gear is REALLY WRONG for the person in question, ie: Rogue who wants to roll on a ring because it has stamina on it, but the ring also has intellect which they may not have noticed at first glance. At that point, someone will say "int?" and then you look closer and go from there :)

Calli, Have you tried windowed mode itself? Sounds like maybe in the video settings (hit escape while in game, choose the video settings) the screen sizing is at a widescreen resolution when you're not on a widescreen monitor? Try some different resolutions from the drop down, maybe one that doesn't say (Wide) at the end of it :)

Evilcucumber: There are addons you can get to help you figure out what you can tame, but also a skill called Pet Lore or something that lets you judge individual animals to see if you can tame them. You can tame beasts, but not humanoids or demons or giants, etc. Just those that identify as beast :)

I haven't played WoW in at least two months. I still log onto my Battle.net account just to make sure if my toons are there. In case I want to come back to WoW... someday.

Same as the above poster, I just wanted to get some ideas for my lvl 69 DK. DPSed Utgarde Keep last night, and after 5 wipes, I decided that I want to try DK tanking... Thanks!

Thanks for the information! I'm just now getting into healing so I decided to do some research and find out what I could about it. What was said about players choosing damage specs while they could be a healer is very true, but I am finding that it's much easier getting into dungeons as a tank (my normal role). As a tank it gets really frustrating for us when the dps is pulling and we take it rather personally when the group wipes. So as a healer are there any tips you can give me for when the group is about to be wiped?
